Our story
Center for Lifelong Learning Lighthouse was established on September 2, 2000 in Leposavić. Lighthouse has fourteen regular members who represent the core of the organization, as well as a large number of supporters who contribute through their participation and contribution to the projects. The organization was established to implement projects and programs in the fields of social inclusion, social entrepreneurship, legal advising and consulting, and lifelong learning.
Center for Lifelong Learning Lighthouse mainly focuses on vulnerable society members, such as: people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, returnees, minorities, children and youth and other groups in high risk of social exclusion. Lighthouse activities are thus directed towards creation of better living standards of these society members.
Who We Are
Center for Lifelong Learning Lighthouse is a non-government organization established to combat social and economic problems through programs of lifelong learning, social inclusion and economic strengthening. Lighthouse consists three main divisions that operate in Mitrovica and Belgrade, therefore covering territories of Kosovo and Central Serbia.
1. Advisory Board – providing transfer of the best EU practices, consulting, group planning, lobbying and monitoring of program execution. The board is composed of 5 permanent members, out of which 2 local and 3 from European Union.
2. Management – consisted of 3 experienced local experts in organizational and project management, and economy.
3. Executive Division – numbering 7 permanently engaged staff members who deal with overall organization and project administration, finances, marketing and other required responsibilities;

Mission of Center for Lifelong Learning Lighthouse is to enhance quality of life for all marginalized groups. We contribute to positive social changes offering support to our target groups and members through information, advocacy and service.
Our vision is a world where everyone has the same rights and opportunities.
The specific objectives for 2020-2025 are:
- To strengthen the capacities of CSO sector to act as accountable and reliable partners in socio-inclusive projects
- To strengthen the role of civil society in service delivery for people with disabilities
- To develop a social inclusion strategy for people with disabilities
- To create favorable conditions for employment/self-employment people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups
- To enable social inclusion of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups thought education, advisory services and trainings
- To provide legal and psycho-social support for the people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups
- To promote of rights of people with disabilities
- To support (re)integration of returnees, internally displaced persons and other persons in a risk of social exclusion
- To support social inclusion of children and youth through modernization of education and qualitative leisure activities
